What to expect at this visit:

  • Measure and record your baby's weight, length, and head circumference in their growth chart.
  • Monitor for signs of jaundice.
  • Check to see how your baby is feeding.
  • Answer questions about your new baby.

Immunizations

  • Hep B (if not given in hospital)
  • Discuss RSV vaccination

Tests/Screens/Assessments

  • Discuss 2nd Newborn Metabolic Screen completed at 7–10 days of life
