In Their Words...
What inspired you to work with children?
My love for children, their curiosity, courage and resiliency began as a young child myself. Growing up, I aspired to be a pediatric ICU nurse, like my Mom. I am thrilled to say those childhood dreams came true for me. I have found gratification in where my career has brought me and look forward to meeting new children and their families each day!
My secret talent or interesting fact about me:
I have a passion for nutrition and fitness, with a particular love for trail running. I’ve completed several 50K ultramarathons in various states across the U.S.
The best advice you’ve ever received:
My Dad has always taught me the importance of enthusiasm. Enthusiasm for life and others is a powerful driving force for success and personal fulfillment.
Favorite way to spend a day off?
I find joy in quality time spent with my husband and son, Madden, enjoying the outdoors.
