In Their Words...
What inspired you to work with children?
Children are never boring - You don't know what they are going to say!
My secret talent or interesting fact about me:
I lived in a mud hut for 3 years in a tiny village in rural Togo, West Africa. It was about an hour's bike ride away from running water and electricity. I was in the Peace Corps before medical school, working on a child and maternal health program.
The best advice you’ve ever received:
There are many ways to get to your goal. Do what makes you happy. Work hard. The rest will fall into place.
Favorite way to spend a day off?
I love to camp with family, friends and our dog, and spend the day outside, hiking and adventuring and cooking campfire meals.
